On Episode 1 of This Korean Life we had Rogelio Garcia join us. Roy, a Californian native is married with a 2 year old daughter and has spent the last 5 years in Korea. He is a public school teacher, and in his free time plays goalie for the local ice hockey team “the Pirates” and volunteers his time with a local NGO called We HOPE as a Program Coordinator. We caught up with him just before wrapping up his final contract and heading out on a extended global adventure with his family until August when they will settle in Kuala Lumpur to begin their new journey. Roy will be teaching at an international school there.
